"CAPITALIZATION MATTERS"
When using an FTP client such as WS_FTP it very handy to know that when reffering to files for either viewing or for transferring, it is completely different to search for FILE.TXT and file.txt as they are different files.
Where as with MS-DOS prompts the use of CAPITALS is irrelivent... it just takes a command as a command. So knowing this will make things a lot easier for me.
These types of programs seem like a very straight forward way to connect to system remotely and access files providing you have access...

Module 1, Task B
he he, Star wars was not expecting to see that...
Pretty amazing considering how simple the program seems to be. Can only guess that the only way to do that would be by typing in the symbols 1 at a time and spacing along. if that is the case i think that someone must have had a lot of time on their hands.. obviously programs have come a long, long way.

Module 1, Task A
Finally got it right...
At first was trying to type telnet into my web browser wasn't thinking!
But then went through start menu and was away, after a quick look at the help menu didn't take long to get what i needed. To look at, is similar to dos. really appreciate the abbreviations.
didn't mind the opperation of it so much, thought it worked pretty simply. just a bit strange for me, being completely different to what i am used to.
